Modern rugs have a great success. It’s easy to explain - not only clothes and cars are changing. Style of carpets also doesn’t stand. Trend for the variety of carpets form is leading at the last times.
Rugs carpet are usually made of silk, wool or cotton. They are decorated with ornaments and various pictures. Till the nineteenth century rugs were made just manually, but then machines came to help. Rugs carpet are made by two methods – weaving and sewing. The most famous carpets are made in Iran and Turkey.
There’re different methods of weaving. There are two main centers of weaving – Northern and Central America on the west and China on the east. The highest point of rugs carpet art was reached on the East. But carpets making was also developed in the Europe. Balkan countries produced the most famous rugs carpet.
But from 16 century the real expansion of eastern rugs carpet began in Europe. Secret technologies were used for making of rugs carpet on the East – people say that this process is very unclear and complicated. It’s just because many details of process are kept in secret.
Rugs carpet are classified the next way: early carpets of Egypt, Turkish carpets, Persian, Indian and Indian carpets.
